It is a ship stair access roof hatch that has a thermally broken curb and covers. The curb has an integral cap flashing 11 ga. Aluminum with corners fully welded. The cover is also an 11 ga. Aluminum. To ensure the roof hatch closes properly, there is a slam latch with inside and outside handles with padlock hasps. You’ll be happy to know that the NB-50TB has a lifting mechanism with reinforced composite tubes and compression springs, making sure the hatch smoothly opens and closes. 

You can get it as an aluminum mill finish and the hardware is corrosion resistant. So if you’re ever planning to use ship stairs to the roof, the NB-50TB can get the job done!

Latch: Slam latch with interior and exterior turn handles and padlock hasps

Finish: Mill finish aluminum
