FDW - FIRE-RATED & INSULATED CONCEALED FRAME ACCESS PANEL WITH WALLBOARD BEAD

Are you looking for an access panel that you can paint over? The FDW Fire-rated and insulated concealed frame access panel with wallboard bead are ideal for you. It is perfect for wall and ceiling installations, and you can use taping compound on the wallboard bead to achieve a smooth wall appearance upon installation. 

It comes with a 16 gauge frame with a 1” drywall bead that you can tape over. Its door is 2” thick and comes with insulation, and it is made of 20 gauge steel with a continuous hinge. The FDW features a universal turn ring and key lock (U) with a white powder coat paint finish. 

This access door has a 1 - ½ hour UL ‘B’ label in a 2-hour fire barrier for wall installations. For ceiling installations, it comes with a 2-hour non-combustible rating or a 1-hour combustible rating.
