FD3RF - 3-HOUR FIRE-RATED RECESSED FLANGE ACCESS PANEL FOR WALLS & CEILINGS

Are you looking for an access door that gives you a trimless appearance? The FD3RF is trimless and comes with a rigid ⅝” recessed flange for drywall application on your walls or ceilings. This access door is made of galvannealed steel with a satin finish and a 3- hour fire rating.

This access door comes with a 16 gauge steel frame and is more prominent with a depth of 3 and ¼”. The flange is concealed and recessed ⅝” that allows wallboard installation on top. Its 18 gauge door panel contains 2-½” inches of high-temperature insulation material and a 22 gauge liner. 

The FD3RF has a concealed continuous rod hinge that secures the door panel. If the size of the access door you choose is greater than 48” in a wall application, it comes with a continuous piano hinge. Its panel closer allows the door to close and latch by itself from an open position of 90 degrees.
