FD2- Oversized Fire-Rated Access Panels

The FD2 is perfect for your wall or ceilings, especially if you need an installation or removal of equipment. The FD2 fire-rated access panel is one of our more oversized fire-rated doors made of galvannealed steel with a satin finish. Its door panel contains 38mm high-temperature insulation material and comes in 1.31mm galvannealed steel with a 0.85mm liner. 

The FD2 oversized fire-rated access panel features a continuous rod hinge that secures the door panel. It also has an automatic panel closer that closes and latches the door from an open position of 90 degrees to meet NFPA 80 requirements. The FD2 has a 2-hour fire rating for vertical or horizontal installation. You can choose a rust-inhibitive off-white prime coat or a #4 stainless steel finish for the exterior surface.
