You'll want the ACF-2064 to achieve the best soundproofing in different building areas. Manufacturers use an 18 gauge, encapsulated design with a 2"" thick acoustical mineral liner and an 0.11"" thick mineral-filled vinyl barrier.

Besides its soundproof door, the frame is an 18 gauge, press bent for strength and rigidity, with 1"" wide trim flanges and a 1"" thick acoustical mineral liner. This feature further increases soundproofing in areas where your contractors installed the access door.

You will also notice a 1/8"" x ½"" neoprene rubber gasket with an adhesive that protects systems and components on the other side of the door. Other features include a continuous exposed stainless steel piano hinge and a standard slotted screwdriver cam latch lock. If you prefer another locking option, you can choose the Torx head with a security pin lock to enhance its security features.
