FBIT- Model Description  

The FBIT is easily a contractor favorite because of its aesthetically pleasing look with its 1-inch exposed flange and fire-rated properties. It comes with a 20-gauge cold rolled steel door with a 16-gauge steel frame, ensuring functionality and durability.   

The FBIT has a concealed pin hinge and a different fire rating for horizontal and vertical installations. It is UL listed under label B for 1-2 hours fire rating for vertical installations. However, flat installations come with a 3-hour fire rating as listed under the Warnock Hersey. The FBIT also comes with a 1-inch-thick fire-rated mineral fiber insulation and finishes with standard gray powder paint.
