FBIP- Model Description  

One of the ideal fire-rated access doors in the market today, the FBIP comes with a 2–3-hour fire rating and a 2-inch-thick fire-rated mineral fiber insulation. The door of the BIP is pure 20-gauge cold rolled steel and comes with a 16-gauge frame, ensuring strength and durability. It also provides an aesthetically pleasing finish because of its plaster bead flange.  

The FBIP fire-rated access door comes with a concealed pin hinge and finishes with gray powder paint. This access door is listed by the UL under label B for vertical installations, meaning it has a fire rating of 1-2 hours. For horizontal structures, the fire-rating of the FBIP access door turns into 3 hours, as listed by Warnock Hersey.
