Its robust structural design mainly consists of 14 gauge (2mm) G-90 paint bond galvanized steel with a zinc coating that serves as the steel's additional protective layer making it an effective corrosion-resistant material. Through this feature, the D-20 can competently withstand extreme heat, high temperatures, and different weather situations with minimal risk of degradation.   

In addition, the equipment roof hatch has lift assistance that automatically and securely holds open the cover at a specific angle to allow the authorized building personnel to reach the roof without the risk of injuries and the cover closing unexpectedly.
