The hatch is designed with a single-leaf operation that is easy to open and close with an exterior and interior turn handle that includes an integral lock. The hatch has gas spring operators for smooth and easy operation for service personnel to quickly and safely access and move equipment to the rooftop. 

The equipment roof hatch features a durable, weather-resistant construction with a fully welded curb and cover. The cover is reinforced with a 1-inch-thick rigid insulation and fully gasketed, spring-assisted tamper-proof hinges to ensure a tight seal and prevent leaks.
