BDT is ideal for areas where air leakage is a concern, like attics, mechanical rooms, and equipment closets where draft stop conditions are required. BDT prevents drafts offering a secure fit with a gasketed 16-gauge steel frame and a 14-gauge self-closing steel door with a 1” exposed flange. BDT is easy to operate with a flush continuous piano hinge with a wide opening radius, self-closing and self-latching functionality, and accessibility from either side; for even easier access, the panels are also removable.
