One feature of the FW-5015 is the 22 gauge steel door and mounting frame that gives it its excellent strength. Manufacturers designed the door to be ⅝" recessed to prevent any part of the access door from protruding outwards. You'll also find a galvanized steel door frame with a drywall taping bead on all sides to make it easier for contractors or building personnel when installing it on drywall walls.

Once your contractors install the access door, you can paint over the door panel because of its satin coat steel finish.
